Not worth it...

Way over-priced, very apparent that all money is spent keeping up the landscaping rather than the buildings and apartments themselves. My husband and I cannot wait to get out in a few months. We moved in when they were just starting to renovate the apartments and after touring a remodeled one, we decided that it definitely was not worth making the upgrade that #1 would cost us almost a $300 "transfer fee" and #2 would raise our rent about $150 for the same sized apartment with very cheap and poor excuses for "upgrades". Now I'd expect for the rent to be more, but why would you charge a transfer fee to current residents....an intelligent person would think that they'd want to keep the residents they have, especially when they're willing to pay a higher rent and have to move themselves. Not sure about the logic there. The pros are that it is a quiet community, and like I said before there's definitely money spent on the grounds, and it's conveniently located. The cons are the prices for what you get, the parking is awful unless you can manage to park before 4 in the afternoon (after that good luck getting a spot near your building! So not fun when I get home late from work and have to walk by myself thru the dark parking-lot), the staff are idiots except for ------, many of my neighbors have bug problems b/c they use pine needles as mulch (which the bugs and garter snakes love to live in)but I got lucky on the 3rd floor, and also when it rains the sidewalks and parking lot floods pretty bad. Now I'm from up north and anything is better than blizzards but when the rain water gets up to the bumper of my car and I have to go somewhere, that's called a drainage problem that should be addressed and I'm sorry but when my dog needs to go outside and I have to take him out in the rain, I'd like very much not to have to wade through water. Bottom line, Falcon Creek is around the corner and that's where we'll be moving next. So if you want to be in this area and the price range for which these run, I'd recommend passing on the Township and checking them out.
