Not where you'll want to be

I am nearly half-way through my lease and here is what I have observed so far:
-Maintenance crew is very slow to respond, IF at all.
-Dog poop is all over the grounds, so the air frequently stinks.
-There should at least be dog weight restrictions...if seems a little inhumane
to keep 2 pony sized dogs cramped up in an apartment anyway.
-The office staff is not very knowledgeable about rent, fees, service calls, etc. and I always get a different answer each time I've had to call.
-The water bill is always outrageous...probably because the toilets run and the faucets drip. (Maintenance crew anyone''....guess not)
-The carpet looks nice, but it smelled like stinky animal.
-The appliance are old and rusting in several places.
Luckily, I have not seen any bugs or rodents. This is not the worst place to live in Hampton, because OVERALL it is decent. I WILL NOT renew my lease here though and I would not recommend moving here. With all the fees, utilities, etc you may as well move into a nicer apartment community.
I have noticed a new office staff including management in the last couple of weeks, so I remain hopeful that things will shape up.

You are right. The NEVER fix anything,I remember I went to the office to put in a work order and the lady just scribbled it down on her desk calender like a doodle. Needless to say the maintenance was never done. NEVER step in the grass because no matter where you step there is dog CRAP everywhere. There is always a line in the office because there is always only one person working. Maintenace came into my apartment while I was on vacation and installed a new HVAC unit and completely moved all my HEAVY furniture and didnt put it back so i had to do it by myself. On top of that they left the heat on in the unit after they installed it the entire time while I was on vacation and my gas bill was sky HIGH. Lets see; when I moved in, I waited like 2 weeks before I could even get a key to the mailbox and when they finally put that in months later the lock was broken and they made me wait about 2 more weeks until finally I threatened to call the coporate office on them.
