Overall - good place to live. - I lived at Sancar from 2008-2010. Reasonably priced for Harrisonburg. The design and layout of the place is very cool - converted warehouse, exposed piping - not your average plain white apartments. The original hardwood floors are nice, but the gaps between the planks are not sealed and lots of metal pins kept popping out of the floors and into my feet. Lived there for 3 years - I lived in Madison Manor for 3 years, while a student. My roommate and I chose to live there because it is one of the very FEW places in harrisonburg that will accept more than 1 dog, and my dog (which is 75lbs). Great place - I've had good experiences at the Mill this past year and I'm staying for a second year. The management really cares about renters.
