Whoever wrote those ?Ashby is great? reviews must be smoking crack, I mean are you sure that you live here''' Or maybe its just that you work here that Ashby is so great! But I say if I could go back in time knowing what I know about Ashby I would have NEVER lived here, I would have taken my business to Old Mill or Sunchase! The management doesn?t care, not helpful, and isn?t office. First off the parking is ridiculous, good luck finding a parking space anywhere close to your apartment for the first month and after that when you leave at night good luck finding a space when you come back . No one cares about anything here, on the weekend people treat the place like a dumpster. There are always broken bottles every where and I mean everywhere along with puke and trash! Its so gross! You leave for the weekend, Sunday you come back to dump site. Its so sad. And break ins, people that come here to party will break into your apartment sometimes they have enough guts to walk in while you?re THERE steal what ever they can! Even people who live in Ashby steal things from you , there have been many occasions where people have stolen things from their neighbors, off the back porch, balcony, etc. NO ONE SHOWS ANY RESPECT, IT MAKES ME SICK!

Then there is maintenance, who come to do "checks" they don't knock and will come right in with or without someone there. They will go into your bedroom which makes me very uncomfortable and when you ask management for them NOT TO DO THIS they refuse or they will tell you it wont happen again but it does anyway! And you always get stuck with ridiculous charges for repairs you didn't ask for, but will never fix anything you have asked to be fixed. Oh yeah another thing about ?great? Ashby, the light outside is horrible so on the weekends when you?re trying to come home from work or leave there are tons of kids walking in the middle of the street and its hard to see them because the lights in Ashby is so shady. Half the street lights are out most of the time!!! The management has no tolerance for any complaints, they simply do not care about anything you have to say or they don?t do a good job at showing that they do.


If live you here over the summer the painting and other repair type people will come in while you're in the shower, never knocking or announcing themselves. Oh and the best part about the painting/repair crew is that even though its completely obvious there are people are living there for the summer the crew will use your bathroom, wreck it and on their way out leave the door unlocked. I came home twice last summer with my front door unlocked and my bathroom left a mess. I?m just lucky that my 25? tv wasn?t gone along with my new DVD player. And this was after I called the office after the FIRST time?.did they do anything about it?.NO!!! I mean they must have had a key to get in the apartment so why didn?t they lock it back'!

In all ASHBY IS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE!!!
