Ashby apartments are pretty nice inside, although a bit smaller than some of the others in the area. They have nice balconies, which are great for "hosting gatherings". The problem with ashby is, the rampant gangs, namely the spanish El Torro 14, notorious in the area for riding motorcylces in formation and brandishing chainsaws and knives at their enemies. For some reason they like to stake out Ashby on weekends. Also, be careful in the surrounding forested areas, I know several people who have been raped or mugged in those woods. Scary!
