OK I will make this short and sweet. Ashby is out to scam you. Examples:
1. Have you ever noticed how you cannot access your water heater' The reason is because the ashby management keeps it on the highest temp possible. This means that the water heater runs constantly and your electric bill is sky high. Yes, the electric company pays ashby to do this. Ashby gets money, the electric company gets high profit from high bills.

2. Poor insulation. Why' Beacause the electric company helps apartment complexes with building costs. In exchange, the complex agrees to use cheap materials. The result' Poor insulation so you end up running the heat and ac non stop. Ashby saves money on materials, and the utility company rakes in the money from kids running the air all day and night.

So how can they do this' Well they rent to kids. They assume that college folk dont know anything and that their parents are most likely paying the rent and they live 2 hours away. Ashby prob has a million excuses to explain whats going on. But isnt it convinient the way they try to keep us in the dark>'
