The Greens is not what you think. They come accros as being luxery apartments, and you dont realize until you move in that they're not. First of all they do not have any show apartments available, but the way they were discribed had me thinking they were much higher scale than they were. In reality they are very outdated. There is no baseboard trim, the doors are all flat (no 6-panels), single pane windows, and the walls are high gloss and textured. I woule expect this in lower income housing but not for the price you pay here. My neighbors upstairs were so loud that my pictures were nocked from the walls and after 6 attempts with the office to get it fixed I just gave up. The lighting in the stairways and outside the buildings are usually burnt out, and forget getting your security deposit back. And if you break the lease, be prepared to pay 2 months rent and 1.5 months early termination fee. I recently purchased a house and needed to end my lease 3 months early. It ended up costing me over $2,700.00 to get out early, of course when I signed the lease I was assured that when I purchased a house I would not have to pay the termination fee. But they "had no recollection of that."

very much untrue! I have been here 3 years and found the building and grounds to be the best maintained anywhere in the area! Lighting is on to a fault! Very bright around every building, are you sure you were at the same place?

I am currently a tenant, sitting in my living room at the Greens... I cannot agree more with the orignal post. Kitchen cabinets around sink/dishwasher is extremely water damaged, counter is warped and backsplash is peeling off the wall despite having been caulked about 4 times guessing by the various colors... DO NOT pay $25 extra a month for a fire place, the little firewood that was provided was much too large and left to sit in the rain right next to the shelter where you would think it would be stacked. When firewood ran out in early January, no more was provided. Lights on outside of building are typically 50% burned out. Heating system it terrible, back bedroom is always cold even if you shut all the other vents. Walls are very thin, one of my neighbors is always leaving his alarmclock buzzing into the night (he must work nights) and it keeps me awake for hours. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE, RENT IS WAY TOO HIGH FOR WHAT YOU GET!! We are anxious to get out in a few months when our lease is up.
