I lived here for 2 years and I must say that I loved it! The apt is so close to JMU. I rented from a private owner, which I recommend because he always fixed whatever needed fixing within 24 hours. I hear people complain about the management co. but since I dealt right with the owner it was fine. The apt. was cheap and well worth it. Air conditioned,4bdrm and 2 bathrms!You can't go wrong for the price $300 a month. Parking was plentiful, noise was fine (we were on top floor), always felt safe

You don't mention if you were in the Condos or the Townhouses. I think the Townhouses are all 4 bedroom while the Condos are a mix of 2/3 and a few 4 bedroom. Most of the 4 bedroom Condos have been converted to very roomy 2 bedroom units each with a private bath. At about 400 month per bedroom and the proximity to Campus it's tough to go wrong.
