South View is a great place to live, especially for undergrads. Living on the top floor is optimal because you don't hear the noise from the other floors, and you won't get broken in to (but I have never heard of anyone getting broken into at South View). It gets a little noisy on weekends, especially if you have loud neighbors, so if you want complete silence, then you probably shouldn't live there. The facilities are excellent, with a free gym and tanning. The maintenance takes a little while to fix your problems, but they eventually come. Having your own bathroom is key, and 2 of the 4 bedrooms have walk-in closets. All of the utilities (including cable and internet) are included in your rent! My roommates and I only had to pay the extra utility bill a few times, and it was usually about $15 each. Bus stops are easily accessible, and walking to campus takes about 35 minutes if you take the short cut. Parking is decent.
