In a word, "no". This is basically what you hear from management about any request that you have to fix or repair problems. I've seen them patch a door frame with nails (not screws).This door lead to the outside, thereby making the lock almost useless. To deal with crime they handed out wooden bars to put in the window tray, Ive had friends who suffered with no A/C for two weeks in August and it was hotter inside the apartment than it was outside (breech of contract btw) and my roommates and I have had our clothes burned in the dryer due to improper maintenance on the unit . Maintenance has been shared with two other housing complexes, ownership has changed 3 times in two years, and although they do provide a $30 electricity cap per person (which has not risen even with the increase in electricity prices), the walls are barely insulated so you lose a ton of heat through them and the windows, especially in the outer rooms. Parking is atrocious even for those that live there, finding visitor parking is borderline rocket science.
The staff (especially the front desk) are useless and unfortunately the student that work there after closing are powerless to do anything.

Base your choice of place to live on the quality of the unit and the willingness of the staff to help you, not on having your own bathroom.
