Children have gotten yelled at by office staff for playing in the 'wrong' place. I've been told there is one play area for ALL the children in the complex down at the basketball court. They periodically get in trouble if they play elsewhere.

Oakwood used to have community gatherings. Archstone doesn't. There is no place or way to communicate with the community.

I rarely find a smile in the office when I go for anything. This is the second Archstone I've lived at. If I had known Oakwood was changing to Archstone I would never have moved in.

The gym area is great. Pool is very well kept.

I applaud the staff for taking action when parents refuse to do so. Too many parents let their kids run wild in the complex. It creates a saftey hazard to have kids playing in the parking lots. I've even had kids on bikes and skateboards run into my car while their parents sat and did nothing. I wish management would be even MORE aggressive when it comes to kids in the complex.
