I signed a short term lease when I moved in and was told that the rates for a 12 month lease wouldn't go up over the course of my 3 month lease. The rates went up $90 and they wouldn't budge. It was too much of a pain to move out though.

The complex is pretty nice though. Quiet for the most part, well kept, etc. Parking can be an issue, but its not such a hassle. I would say that the complex is probably overpriced by about $100, especially with the new Van Metre complex that just finished being built across the street, but all in all it covers my needs from an apartment.
