Nice Tenants; Great Maintenance People; Not the best management

I lived in Ashford Meadows for a year and for the most part my stay was very enjoyable.
My roommate and I both felt that the management was rather rude and confrontational when approached about issues (maintenance, lease explainations and such) in person. They were the nicest people in the world during the application process, but once the first month's rent hit the floor, we were just another apartment number and not much more than that.
Something to also be aware of is that there is a 60 day "termination of lease" requirement that must be given if you plan to move out. This policy is in effect even if you chose to move out at the end of your lease term. If it is not given, you are charged 60 days of MARKET RENT (not your normal monthly rent)It's in the fine print of the lease, but it's more FYI so you don't get burned.

FYI - 60 days notice for termination of lease is standard in Virginia. As a renter, it is your responsibility to know that.
