Had I known that the complex was a pidgeon roost for all the birds in western Fairfax County, I would have looked elsewhere. Calls to the office about this health hazard were acknowledged. Protectionist regulations at the county prevent any action against the birds. Contacting the health department about this does not yield any results.

Suggestion, build and install several large birdhouses in remote corner of the property and let the pidgeons be rent free tenants there. The type that sit on a twelve foot pool and hold 20 or more birds may work.

Some dogs that live on the premises are escorted to the yard to do their business. However cleanup after the job is done does not occur. Perhaps some dog owners should be acquainted with the county health regulations on this topic. Walking between the buildings and watching for landmines is not fun.
