I have been living at Dulles Greene for about 10 months now, and can't believe some of the reviews on here. I have lived in lots of different apartment communities, but this one surpasses them all by far. That's not to say it doesn't have it's faults either.

Pros
1. My apartment is really spacious and well designed. I live on the 3rd floor (the top floor in our particular building). I have these great vaulted ceilings and my windows look out onto a wooded area.
2. Maintenance is always quick to respond. On top of that, I have never had to call them back to fix something twice (They have been out to fix the disposal and the dishwasher).
3. The front office staff is courteous and professional. They may not know my name (but I am 1 of 100s of residents) but they are quick to help when I need them!
4. Its close to Reston Town Center (about 10 minutes) and Dulles Town Center Mall (about 15 minutes).
5. The residents are quiet either families or professionals.
6. The front office tries to create a community atmosphere with events (like balcony decorating contests)

Cons
1. Intro rent is very reasonable, but we just got our renewal letter stating our rent will go up $225 a month. That was an ouch, but we are renewing because we love the apartment. The reason the increase was so big was because we did receive a $150 concession for the first year, so rent is only increasing $75.
2. Moving in sucks if you live on the upper levels. There are no elevators. We moved into the 3rd floor in mid-June in 90 degree heat. UGH!
3. Parking is limited for visitors (I and my fiance have no problem parking near our building). That said, you can get temporary passes for visitors so they can park in regular spots.
