Dulles Greene for me is simply a pleasure to live quietly and conveniently close to work. Let me expound...
MY APARTMENT
Actually, I love the space and quality of material used in it. It is pretty quiet (facing the woods and one street) and the neighbors are pleasant. Although, I am on the 4th floor, there is no elevator, however, this was my choice.
MY RENT
It is pretty steep, however, hey, what can you say, it's VA, not MD!
AMENITIES
The gym, pool, and most of the other goodies are okay. But the computers have kids playing on them without firewalls and that can be a problem (if you know what I mean).
COMMUNITY
The area is pretty nice. The lawns are cut, there are a lot of dogs around, but I stay out of the grass! The atmosphere is nice and calm, except for one little crowd in another building, but they don't bother me.
PARKING
PARKING SUCKS. There are too many cars there and such little areas to park. If I get home late, I have to walk around the corner rather than outside my apartment. This can be a problem when I have kids and many things to carry in.
FRONT OFFICE
THIS IS THE PROBLEM. For the most part, the one person that I first met and showed me the property is my only real problem. However, after dealing with others in the front desk, it seems 2 out of 4 are okay. But the one chick (leasing agent), that I was assigned to has caused problems from day one. I am led to write a letter to Corporate because of her.
Other than that, everything else is great.
Honestly!

We appreciate hearing constructive feedback from all of our residents and the feedback does help us in planning new things for the community in our budget. To address a few of your comments, I am sorry you are having a difficult time with parking. We are addressing our parking policy and enforcement this week and you should see an improvement (hopefully) within the next week. We did build an additional 30 parking spaces for the property to address this issue this year. As for any issues you have had with the leasing staff, please contact the Leasing Director regarding them. She is responsible for training the staff and resolving any issues between them and the prospects/residents. Unless we know where there is a problem, we cannot make a correction.
