Had my vehicles towed twice for parking without visitor pass, then for parking in visitor parking with a resident tag. Both times the apartment's office personnel just shrugged. Have waited several months to have a toilet and sink to be fixed, and still waiting for the railing of the stairwell to be fixed (over 5 months). Rent is VERY high, and there have been a lot of shady characters recently moving in. Property has gone from being a nice quiet place, to a place where I wouldn't allow my family outside after dark.

I am sorry to hear that you and your friends were towed on several occasions. We do try to strongly emphasize the towing paragraph in our lease agreement with every new move-in as we don't want any of our residents or their guests towed. We receive no money from the towing company and, believe me, no enjoyment from having someone come into our office upset that their car was towed. Towing is a necessary evil in Northern Virginia and I don't know of one property that doesn't have to do it to make sure that parking is as fair across the board as it can be for each and every resident. If you would like one of the managers at Dulles Greene to go over the parking policies for the property wiht you personally, we would be more than happy to. As for your maintenance requests, please contact the Assistant Manager of Dulles Greene for anything done with maintenance that isn't to your satisfaction. Our maintenance requests rarely take more than 48 hours to complete unless an outside contractor is involved so please let us know if there are pending items to complete in your apartment. Rent at Dulles Greene is established by collecting market information from all our competitors on a weekly basis to determine our pricing. We encourage everyone to call other properties in the area that are similar in age, size and amenities to determine how competitive Dulles Greene's prices are for the area. As for your concerns regarding safety, please contact the non-emergency police number at any time if you have questions regarding the neighborhood or crime statistics. Within 10 days the police will provide you with a report on crime in the area in any given time frame. For prospective residents, please keep in mind that crime occurs in every neighborhood everywhere around the world so if you are trying to decide on which apartment complex you would feel more comfortable in, I would recommend collecting these reports on several communities and comparing the results against each other.
