I'm leaving soon after a "mixed" 13 month stay. I read the reviews on this site before moving in, hoping that the poor reviews were written by the same few people. I now understand where they are coming from.

As a disclaimer, your experience will vary based on where your unit is. My unit is next to the leasing office.

Raves:
- the complex is near 28 and 267. it's fairly close to grocery stores (wegman's, giant, bloom), general purpose stores (target, walmart, costco), etc.

Rants:
- it can't be said enough: parking is awful (for residents and visitors)
- the nearest dumpster is a "drive" away
- USPS does not have a "drop box" and does not drop packages off at the leasing office. you need to pick up packages from the post office...
- random annoyances:
-- pool had several closures in the summer of 2007
-- dog poop is common on the sidewalk and grass
-- some tenants drive overly aggressive

I can't recommend the place because there are better places nearby (check this site for higher reviews). There's a reason this place has a score of only 36%.

It's not horrible if you need a place to live with short notice, but I am choosing to move away because I don't care to spend another year of my life here.

I also lived near the clubhouse (building xx71) and this review is right on target. The trek to the dumpster is pretty bad in the winter, especially when the sidewalks are not salted. I really don't like driving to dump the garbage because I lose my spot at night and need to park even farther away! On the other hand, it is nice being near the clubhouse. When the staff screws up, you can just walk across the street to raise hell. Also, the bbq/gym/tennis court/basketball court are very close.

I keep this site on my computer just to see if anything ever changes at Dulles Green...why am I not surprised that it never gets better...why? Because they can get away with it...If everyone would start contacting Toll Brothers directly, something might (and I said MIGHT) change..all I know is when I finally moved, they tried to sue me to repaint the apartment...lived there for two years and it took calls to Toll Brothers to get everything staighted out...STUPID..STUPID...STUPID... I would not recommend this place to my WORST ENEMY!!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT EVEN IT WERE RENT FREE TO A YEAR!!! Gotta love the negative responses...one would think that they would get their act together...in fact, I truly believe that all positive comments are placed on this website by Dulles Green employees!!!!!

they shouldn't charge you to repaint unless you did some damage to the walls or have done some custom painting. That is the norm.
