Dulles Greene

Me and my husband have lived here going on five years now. He is millitary and doesn't really want to move unless he has to. These apartments are in a great location. The tollroad is right beside you, and there are grocery stores, restaurants, and malls nearby. My husband loves all the golf courses and I love all the trails around here. Maintenance is very nice and prompt with fixing anything (we haven't had a lot of problems). On the other hand, parking is terrible. My husband even had his car towed (he ended up parking in a open visitor parking place b/c he couldn't find an open regular parking space, and boy were we shocked and mad to find his car towed the next morning). This has been a problem the whole five years. We have debated whether to just pay an extra $200 to get a garage, but I had seen other people complaining of problems with mold. Also, the garage may not be near our apartment. Another thing is the lease. It seems like people that already live here pay more for the same apartment than a person signing a new lease. That is a little crazy to me, I think if anything you should get a discount for staying or at least the same price. We could pay less for a bigger apartment b/c we would be considered a new renter. CRAZY.. why haven't we done that? b/c as I said before my husband doesn't really want to move and risk messing up furniture unless he has to. All in all, I do like these apartments (quiet, gated, and have a nice appearance), but the parking situation has made me want to leave many times. I also wanted to add that the whole time I have been here, I have never had or heard of any break-ins or police investigations until that post a few days ago. I still am wondering where I was when all this occurred. Maybe at work.
