The office staff is the most unprofessional I have ever dealt with. Tried to rent an apartment and they kept raising the fees and proceeded to tell me units were available, then conveniently rented. Was looking for a 1 bed 1 bath and they wouldn't offer anything but a 2 bedroom. This place is a scam! Lionsgate Apt. Manager was extremely rude. You could not pay me to live here!

Apparently you do not understand the logistics of renting an apartment. If you call, or go into the office and someone saids something is available, then you leave without putting down a "holding fee" application fee or any type of deposit, then you have NO CLAIMS to that apartment. Someone else jumped on it. April, May and June are the busiest months for renting. Do not blame your indecisions on the staff. The "fees" do not change. In depends on which size apt you choose and when you move in. That is clearly stated.
Leasing Agents work off comission (and NOT on the price of the apt but how many they rent) so for someone to tell you they are no 1 bedrooms available only 2 bedroom it is NOT in their favor. Point made--they were telling the truth and you are mad at yourself for being indecisive.

On the mark. Very unprofessional staff. There is no concept of follow up. As the review said, based on who you talk to, you will get a different answer on the terms and fees.

I've always found the management to be as nice to you as you are to them. I will say that you have to push to get things fixed that aren't considered an emergancy. However, pushing nicely has always been effective. As far as the rates go, I know they fluctuate a good bit. But they lock in whatever rate you deposit for. If the rate goes up, the next time you come back, that's your problem.
They are not as weird as places like the Camden, who will give you a discouted rate for a year, then raise your rent $500 dollars.
