I think the most disappointing part is the people in the office with held a lot of information from us. We really liked the idea of a two bedroom with a loft (there are only 2 in the entire place.) They made it sound like it would be a piece of cake to move into and that there would be plenty of room in the apartment. We went on blind faith, and found out yesterday in order for them to make it a loft, they cut out a lot of things. The kitchen got noticably smaller, the side by side washer/dryer became a stackable, and so much for a linen closet. It is not a horrible place, and you can't beat the fact that they are brand new. I'm sure when we move out we will be leaving half our stuff (because we won't want to go through the pain of moving it out!) It is a very nice location. The office seems to be a bit disorganized, but overall they are very friendly. We got our extra parking space for $30, so I can't complain about that. We'll see how things go, perhaps I'll reassess. As for noise, we are on the 4th floor, so we are probably the ones everyone else will complain about!
