I've read most of the reviews, and I don't think they are accurate. I haven't had any issues with noise that are excessive. I can hear a neighbor's TV when he watches it on the balcony if my windows are open. The apartments are also in the flight path for Dulles Airport. But excessively noisy' No, and I HATE noise!
Parking' I had no trouble with my parking space, and the office even switched it twice to accommodate a physical disability.
Maintenance' Everything was fixed immediately, or within 24 hours of a call.
Front office staff lying' Unlikely, though there were serious issues with a 3rd party leasing company that KSI is/was using when I first tried to rent. The office staff fixed all of those issues quickly.
Fees' Well, yes... pets cost money. I didn't find the pet fee here excessive since EVERY apartment I've lived in has charged between $20-$40 a month for my one declawed neutered cat. Plus, most places have charged between half a month or a full month rent deposit for him. A few places have required INTERVIEWS with the animal!
If you have a large dog, you are going to pay for the privilege because large dogs have a reputation of being destructive.
The only serious issue I've had is with getting packages: you don't always know that things are waiting for you, and occasionally, you find out just by going into the office.
