This apartment is better than most we have live in. As a military family, we have moved A LOT. The staff is courteous and fixes anything we mention. The grounds are reasonably well kept. It is a bit expensive but this is Herndon - be realistic. You can get a cheaper apartment but you probably won't have a garage or elevator.

The only problems I have encountered are from tenants rather than the staff. Some of our neighbors seem to think that it is okay to leave the gates and doors open. Frankly, I chose this apartment for the security so I get really irritated that this happens.

Another thing that bothers me is when tenants set their trash outside their doors because it smells too much to keep in thier own apartment. If it smells too much for you, what makes you think I want to smell it' Take it to the garbage shute!

The noise is not that much of an issue. It is an apartment. Don't expect to have the quietness of a single family home. That just isn't reality.
