Very nice apartment although you must remember it is apartment living. I find most of the things people have said about this apartment very hard to believe. I have lived here for almost a year, and just signed for another. The staff is outstanding, always very nice, and helpful in every way. The apartment is by far all around better than any other apartment in Herndon I looked at. I looked at three places before moving here. This buildings floor plans are designed very well, very functional for someone who has a lot of furniture, like me. The apartment building is very nice, and well taken care of. The parking garage is very nice, you can open the garage door for someone over your phone. There is also free parking for motorcycles on each level of the parking garage. You can also walk down the street to over a dozen places to eat, drink, shop, go to the gym, etc. The next best apartment in the area is this apartments sister in downtown Reston.

I only had one problem, with the AC, and it was fixed in less than a day. As for the bad, you can hear things through the walls from time to time although it is not bad at all. At least not for me anyway. No loud parties, no kids making noise. It would be nice if there were a place to grill food. No matter where you go you are going to have people that are incapable of being responsible. I mean, if you drop something, clean it the **** up! Drop your trash down the chute, sure it will make a noise but no one is looking. The Met does a great job at taking care of things like this, they don't last long.

Update: You can hear a lot of noise if you have noisy people around you. I also think there may be an issue with the water pipes as the water smalls like dirty socks if not run for a week or two. It can get in your clothes! Security cameras would be a good addition at the apartment as well.
