I have lived in McNair famrs for 1 year and do not recommend it. First, the rent is high for what you get in comparison to other complexes in the Herndon area. There are newer complexes with similar rates. Also, be VERY LEARY of the cheaped rates they change up front. They require 2 months written notice to terminate a lease which is rediculous. For professionals who may need to move or accept a different job quickly a 2 month notice is crazy. It's all a way to get a little extra $$ out of people. There is not need to have two months to prepare a place for a new tennant.

McNair Farms is also a very loud place to live. There are a lot of young families with young children who are allowed to run around the parking lots and yards.

You can find more for the money. I recommend looking somewhere else.
