To start, I was booked into the wrong town home. This caused many unnecessary issues for setup and new services. It was lucky that I called beforehand or I would not have had a place to stay. Management turnover created a different story with each new person and no one is willling to listen to problems.

Living conditions are sub-standard. One can go from 70 degrees on the top floor, to 50-40 degrees in the LR/DR/Kitchen area, to an average 40-30 (and below) degrees on the ground level depending on the outside conditions. There is a constant draft, which gets worse when the wind is up, and this has created a very uncomfortable living area and a near in-hospitable lower level. The maintenance solution was to simply try to reseat the weather stripping (unwitnessed) on the front door, turn up the thermostat to 90 degrees, and to increase the temperature at the water heater with the explanation that townhouses are cold and that is it. This caused both my electric and gas bills to DOUBLE and it did not solve the problem.

The problems lie in the shoddy, unsealed installation of the windows and doors, and a total lack of insulation throughout all levels of the house.

Other basic maintenance was performed personally as the on-site representative is unprofessional, sloppy, and untimely. It is entertaining, though to witness some of the solutions.

It seems as if the management was prepared for this type of reaction as the lease clearly states that we are on our own, with no recourse, until the end of the lease term. It is very disappointing to deal with any of these apathetic and unaccountable people.

Do not be fooled by the location or the appearance of the front office.
