I definitely do not work for the leasing office. After reading the other reviewer?s postings, I would be mad too if I had paid $1700 a month, that is ridiculous! I haven?t found an apartment/townhome in the entire D.C. area that is worth that!!! I completely agree that an amenities fee should not be charged until they get some amenities. (I think they are currently waiving that fee.) I found the pet deposit to be very reasonable. The majority of places I looked at charged $400-$1000 in pet deposit plus a monthly pet fee. The property is currently charging $300. From what I can tell, the Townes has made improvements, starting with their prices. I hope this continues when it?s time to renew the lease! For now, they still earn 9 out of 10 from me.
