I've been living in the townes for a while now, and I'm loving it. I can't hear my neighbors through the walls, but they wave on the street. The staff is *beyond* helpful, everyone is friendly. Construction is sound (no squeaky doors or broken plaster around the windows), There are more power outlets than you'll ever need, plenty of room in the units and the grounds are always maintained and clean.

I had heard some bad things about the surrounding area, that the overall population could make you leery, but I've walked to/from Friday night live and various restaurants in the area, met many of my neighbors (from the towns and from surrounding complexes) and I've never been given any reason to even take pause. The only disadvantage is that there isn't really a lawn on the property grounds, though there is a park right behind the complex. This is the kind of place you could raise children.
