Van metre is a great place to live - To be honest, this is my third year. Everything about this apartment complex is good except internet. The internet sucks. If you want to telecommute, this is the worst place to live.

Seeing that you have been in Van Metre for three years do you agree to the common complaint that the rent shoots up ridiculously after the first year. Any information on the renewal would help

Rent may or may not shoot up. What you need to do is try and get an offer few months before your rent actually expires from one of the managers. If you do that, you will get a decent rent. If you wait for your renewal notice, then it will be ridiculously high
