I've lived thru the Archstone era and now Fairfield, neither do well for customer/resident satisfaction. Once in the door, your a waiting number. I've dealt with unsafe locks on the doors, bad heating/cooling systems, backed up water, flooding, inoperatable appliances, gestapo like construction crews that took over my apartment for 10 days as repiping took place making my apartment unlivable. The carpets are so low grade that one spill literally ruins the appearance as ordinary cleaners won't remove them, I have used a carpet cleaner twice, to no avail, and these are oridinary stains! The maintenance staff, is adequate at best, they try the least expensive option before using the proper way to correct a situation, meaning there will be a return visit, because it wasn't fixed the first time. The office staff is rude and condesending and needs to reminded repeatedly when there is a problem on the property that demands attention. Why do I tolerate this' Because so many apartments are breed specific when it comes to dogs, and my dog is grandfathered in to my lease. BUT, this is my last year before I relocate. I hope Bellemeade gets their act together, there are alot of empty apartments.
