I lived in this apartment quite a while ago now, so hopefully some of these criticisms are now outdated. I loathed living here so much, though, that I have to pipe up with my concerns.

Never have I lived in an apartment complex that needed to key into my apartment so constantly. About once a week, they'd key into perform maintenance, check locks, install new locks, and the worst of all, install a water meter inside the apartment. I worked nights at the time, so this was a constant disruption.

This leads to my largest concern. The apartment complex ripped a huge hole in the wall of the laundry area to make room for the water meter. Well guess what came a-runnin' out of that hole almost immediately' That's right: rodents.

The apartment complex's response to my concern' #1 - telling me that "it's a problem all apartments have." Really' #2 - telling me they'd install poison in "high traffic areas" for the mice. I later found one of these poison boxes under my bed.

I couldn't leave fast enough. It's an attractive place from the outside, but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!

I also have found rodent feces in cabinets and Laundry area. This has been a miserabe experience. My apartment is discustingly filthy. I have been lied to and taken advantage of. Upon move in I have found, live and dead insects. Organic matter stick to walls shower and counters. There was old food particles in the kitchen sink. The garbage disposal contained a moldy furrry substance. A/C and Hot water did not work when I moved in. Stafff has been very combative. DO NOT RENT HERE. I hope you do not experience my hell. I am stuck in a 6 month lease. Many promises have been made, none fufilled and 0 follow up. Staff is unprofessional and has slandered me behind my back. DO NOT RENT HERE. Many fire code and safety violations are obvious i.e. wires cut to smoke detector / Black mold on walls and sink fixtures / Fire extinguisher was due for inspection two years ago. Unstable staf with no honest communication. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!! Commons at Bellemeade / Bellemeade Farms / Archstone at Bellemeade. I you want to pay luxury prices for ghetto living this is the place for you.

2 years later the mice are still a problem even after this place was just renovated! I'm stuck in a 13 month lease and still have 7 looooong months left!! I'm counting down the days until I get out of this disgusting place. I have seen the rodent feces in my newly remodled kitchen cabinets as well as in my bathroom. I've also seen so many live insects all through my apartment.
