I moved into a two bedroom apartment in early November ($1,375 per month), but there was a promotion which allowed me to get my first two months rent for free. So far, my review is mostly positive. Everyone in Bellmeade's office seem very nice and quick to get back to me with any issues, especially Colleen. My apartment itself (900 square feet) is spacious enough for my needs and I have not had any problems with the appliances. Also, the apartment complex is right off Route 15 and within a mile form downtown so it is conveniently located. BY FAR, my biggest complaint is that tenants are forced to go with a no name cable company called "Direct Path" and don't even have the option to go with Verizon FIOS. Tennats can get a satellite dish, however, a majority of the apartments (including mine) are pointed in the wrong direction and cannot receive dish. The unit is not wired at all for HD service, which really disappointed me since I recently spent a lot of money on a 62 inch TV to enjoy HD service. My only other real complaint is that the walls are paper thin. Also, the water tank, which is located in my bedroom, runs a a bit at night which can be a bit annoying. The maintenance man lives below my apartment and he is very quick in addressing maintenance issues. Also, I feel like this is a pretty safe neighborhood. If the cable company issue gets addressed, my review of this apartment will definitely be bumped up a star.
