I moved into my one bedroom apartment back in May. The apartment I moved into was un-renivated, so my opinion might be slightly biased. The washer, dryer and dishwasher are all very outdated and we have had problems with all three. Maintenance was very responsive and all issues were fixed within two days. Other than that the apartment was fairly average, walls are relatively thin but it is expected with any apartment. Price is very resonable and the commute into Fairfax area isnt too bad.

HERE IS WHERE THE REVIEW TAKES A TURN. Unless you face the southern hemisphere and can put a satallite on your deck, then you are stuck with DirecPath to provide your TV and Internet. If you enjoy watching TV and using internet DO NOT MOVE INTO AN APARTMENT WHERE YOU CANNOT GET SATALLITE TV/INTERNET. I can not even begin to explain how terrible of a cable company DirecPath is. In short, you will recieve maybe 20 analog channels and your internet will not work the majority of the time and is extremely slow. They will incorrectly bill you, accidently turn off your service and not be able to reactivate it for weeks, and this is all extremely over-priced than the normal cable providers. Since living in my apartment for five months I have only had correctly working internet and TV less than half the time. I have had to call to report problems to DirecPath atleast once a week since starting service (usually taking about 45mins-2 hours).

Had I have known that I would be forced to use DirecPath's TV/Internert service I would have not moved in. That is how terrible it is.

Congratulations, you have discovered one of the major drawbacks to this complex. In addition to what you have stated, every problem I ever reported was responded with "we'll have to send a technician out to check your service" and the date was always open to all day so you have to take a whole day off from work. On four separate occasions the technician never showed up and they had to reschedule. I suggested the complex get receivers put on the roof of the building and offer it to all tenants but the thought was passed over by management as being too disruptive to the appearance of the complex as if the oversized dishes on balconies isn't!
