I have lived here since last April ('03). Concerns that others have expressed regarding plumbing and flooring noises, loud and vibrating garbage disposal, lack of ice or snow removal from sidewalks I too experience. In addition, my kitchen counters are "bubbling up" at the seams. I'm assuming that the seams were never sealed. I cannot open my dishwasher all the way because the door gets blocked by the stove. Every time I turned on my fireplace it set off the fire alarms. When I questioned management I was told that they were coated with something that had to burn off, it would take "a couple of hours", and to "just open your doors and windows and ignore the fire alarm until it stops." Of course this was the dead of winter. It took about 10 hours over a period of three days, and by the time it was over my nerves and the nerves of my pets were completely jarred. (Additionally, no one in my building questioned my fire alarm going on and off for three days; I could have been dead!). I could go on and on regarding the lack of ice removal, lack of response from maintenance, etc. but others have expressed it well. I actually initially found the management pleasant and helpful the majority of the time. During the sale of the complex and right after, things went downhill very fast. The new staff were rude and not too bright. (We had an influx of blonde "valley girls" who wore short tight skirts, didn't know squat and could have cared less. When you walked in they would all be sitting around chatting and ignore you for about 5 minutes. When you asked your question they scowled, played with their hair, and said things like: "Well, like, well, like... that's never happened before..." They had like, well, like.. NO APPARENT EXPERIENCE OR CREDIBILITY. I began wondering if I was being filmed for the show Girls Behaving Badly!

This is a nice looking place, with some good amenities, but the management is currently terrible and the apartments have some construction issues. If you really want to live here, I suggest waiting awhile until somebody gets their act together. I believe Jessica Seeley comes from another complex over in Ashburn. She is a real go getter - hopefully under her management things will improve at some point.
