When I moved to Fairways at Lansdowne last July (2003), I had no idea how much I was going to end up hating this place. It got even worse when the Summit management company took over. They are rude and they do not pay attention to customer complaints. I have made THREE compaints now to the office about the parking situation here, and have yet to hear back. I have called TWICE about a hornets' nest on the roof of my balcony and have yet to hear back from Summit. When I moved in I was told I could rent a carport parking space if I wanted to, for $20 a month. Summit now says this is not so. Being a young female, I must say I do not think I should have to jeopardize my safety by walking half a mile across the entire parking lot to get to my 4th floor apartment just because I came home after 7pm and there are NO PARKING SPOTS. Summit does not enforce towing anymore. Yet, strangely, when they first took over the place they claimed they were going to begin reserving spots. I have been told for 6 months now that something is being done about making carport spaces available for rent. The walls are paper thin, I can hear my neighbor's TV most of the time! And forget about the gates being used anymore , Summit refuses to operate them! So much for living in a nice, gated community. I plan on contacting the corporate office with my troubles, hopefully I can get out of my lease if their promises are not kept. It's been made more difficult because Summit now requires 3 months' rent for a person to be able to break their lease (this is ridiculous).

This place is awful, do not ever, ever move here! I hope this review finds you in time :)
