I lived here for 2yrs and recently moved out of state, by and large, I enjoyed my stay at this complex. I previously wrote a somewhat negative review on this site about this complex, but that was based almost entirely on Camden coming in and raising the rent over $150/mo. (in my case) This for living in a 1 bdrm. 690sq. ft. (shoebox) apt. so I was on my way out anyway, I'm not a Virginian, so there was NO-WAY I was gonna pay $1200/mo, shrugg my shoulders, and say "Thats just the way it is here" for a 1 bdrm. I must say the move out inspection went flawlessly, Sean (maintenance) who conducted the inspection couldn't have been nicer, and the office staff was quite nice as well, I also received my entire deposit back in a timely manner, so my parting experience was a good one. If I can part with just one suggestion it would be, put speed bumps in, before someone gets killed! you couldn't pay me to drive one of those little golf carts around the complex, especially in the afternoon!

I totaly agree with you...I have been living here for over a year and my rent went up $100 so I am scare to stay when my lease will be up.

First of all, the Summit staff would only stand up if you were to bend over. I know this from personal experience. Before Camden ever entered the picture the rent for a forth floor, two bedroom overlooking route 7 was $1550. And I'm sure that they considered overlooking route 7 as `a view.` And the drag racing motorcyles at 3AM were probably considered `ambiance`. And as far as 'scumbags flying through`, how can that be, I paid $150 for two gate openers that I never found any use for after they opened the gates full time two weeks later. Somebody needs to appoint a new head lemming and turn his ass around.

I would expect a response like that from a NOVA "Zombie" (you're probably from the area and just are unaware of what a reasonable cost of living is) thats ok, I don't blame you...if you can't see how ridiculous it is to pay $1200/mo. for a 'shoebox' than no amount of therapy can help. Oh by the way, ever hear of 'Interest Only Loans'??
