In the 2 years that my wife and I lived at lansdowne, we were dissatified with management and the office staff. First when we moved in we were welcomed to deal with the Wonderful Maggie, who had a personallity of a dead tree stump, then there is the office MANAGER Jennifer Klunk, she is nice as you sign that lease that lines her pockets with money, then it all changes. The average person would think that an office manager would be nice to the tenants living in the apartments, but I lost count as to how many times I never received a hello,or wave, mostly I received a glare while she rode her little golfcart around the complex(I guess spending as much as we did there for 2 years doesn't deserve gratitude). Next we do have one bright spot of the office staff is that they had, Hope, and Makayla there, they were always nice and willing to make the tenants happy. For those 2 we appreciate everything they did. Next, we have the spots that are for the dogs to go to the bathroom, and for it to be cleaned up, I personally witnessed a office staffer walk their dog as it did its duty and they never bothered to stop and clean the mess up, GOOD JOB, GREAT EXAPMLE as to what the tenants should do. Last, we finally wisened up and moved out of that place, and are still dealing with them until the end of the month. Just the other day my wife and I arrived do do some final things and found a notice on our door that indicated that if the amount on the notice was not paid by today, we would be taken to court for the fees. After consulting with the office we found out that after we paid the rent for month, on the first mind you, at the time we paid we consulted with a office staffer that is no longer there, and she stated us a price that we did pay.weeks after the amount was paid we received the letter on our door only to find it on the 25 of may.It was a mistake by the office at the time and we had to pay for their mistake, we did what we were required to do. The person that made the mistake was promoted to something,(if they treat all of their employees that make huge mistakes that cost others more money with promations, then Jennifer Klunk should be the owner of the complex by now). My final thought is this, in reading the summer newsletter that was sent to every door in the complex I noticed that they stated that they would go through peoples garbge bags(with rubber gloves) that were left outside of the trash compactor and find out who the tenants were. I sure hope they contacted the Federal Government about that, because it is against the federal law to do something like that. For those of you that are happy there, good for you, for those of you about to look into a place, reconsider before you receive the MIA professional staff they say they have.
Thank you

Have you checked your law books lately - when trash is placed outside of your home in the dumpster area it is now not your property. Also if I am not mistaken it is specifically spelled out your in lease what the rules are when giving notice - maybe you should have read your lease a little closer. The one thing I do agree with is the dogs, however this is not managements fault it is the residents who do not take the responsibilities of their pets.

Actually "Counselor" it is outrageous to suggest anyone's trash be opened to find the identity of a person, who's only "mistake" was getting to the dumpster too late, (after others have already stacked their trashbags outside of the dumpster) you are sorely mistaken to assume this is not a lawsuit waiting to happen, especially given recent legislation against ID theft. The trash "stacking" problem only occurs on weekends/holidays (people being creatures of habit usually wait until the weekend/holidays to take out trash) I would be more concerned about the lazy jerks that continue to pile up furniture, tv's, soiled matresses etc. in front of the dumpster drive up area, if you simply warn people that the area is under video surveillance, and place a camera in a visible spot, this may serve to alleviate the situation.
