I've there for a while its a nice place, but make sure that you are present during your initial and exit walk through otherwise your going to get beat!

Don't be afraid to move into Camden Landsdowne because it's really a beautiful place to live. For those who either can't afford a house or who simply aren't ready to own Camden is a very impressive alternative. The apartments are large with an impressive large balcony(some apartments, large washers and dryers in each unit inside a very large pantry room, high ceilings and 6 for mantel fireplace in living room. The kitchen is an impressive bar type with nice appliances. The master and 1 bedroom apartments have large oval bathtubs, and bathrooms have a pantry inside. You can go on the site yourself and see how nice the 2or 3 clubhouses, 3 pools, exercise rooms and business centers are. Believe me its a place you can be proud of inviting friends and family over. The surrounding community alone is worth living there...Landsdowne Resort is down the street, golf course across the street and $600,000.00 homes are across the street along the golf course and simply every where. There are new little strip malls being built believe me it's a nice community. Now the office staff: Jennifer you really do need to watch. She will lie and try and beat you out of every dollar which is probably one reason why she has ever been given the opportunity to be the property manager. That would really be a huge management blunder. I like the current manager...Cody, he's pretty nice to deal with. He does handle complaints pretty quickly. All-in-all, whenever I had a maintenance request it was taken care of immediately. Okay here's the stuff you've been waiting for: When you move in you are given a checklist to fill out stating all the problems you found wrong with the apartment upon move in. BEWARE WRITE DOWN ANYTHING LITTLE OR SMALL AND KEEP A COPY FOR YOUR RECORDS. BE SURE TO SCHEDULE YOUR EXIT WALK THROUGH 1 MONTH BEFORE YOU MOVE OUT BECAUSE IF YOU TRY AND SCHEDULE A EXIT WALK THROUGH WITH MAINTENANCE THE LAST WEEK OR TWO OF LEAVING, THEY WILL TELL YOU THEY DO NOT HAVE THE TIME AND THEY WILL ASSESS YOUR APARTMENT AFTER YOU MOVE OUT. IF THAT HAPPENS BELIEVE ME YOU ARE GOING TO GET BURNT. ESPECIALLY IF THE PROBLEMS THEY FIND ARE NOT THE PROBLEMS WRITTEN DOWN WHEN YOU FIRST MOVED IN BELIEVE ME THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE YOU FOR IT. BELIEVE ME THEY WILL CHARGE YOU $45.00 FOR SCRATCHES ON KEY PAD OF YOUR MICROWAVE OVEN. IT WOULD PAY YOU TO RENT A CARPET CLEANER FROM GIANT AND CLEAN THE SPOTS IN YOUR CARPET RATHER THAN HAVE THEM ASSESS A DAMAGE FEE FOR CLEANING BY LAW THEY HAVE TO DO ANYWAY.. IMAGINE THAT! Word to the wise, write down everything otherwise you will pay with your deposit or out of pocket. If any thing breaks while your a tenant call it into maintenance immediately. Being a lazy tenant will burn you. Jennifer is the one who handles beating you out of your money. Oh yeah...they have added a valet garbage service that ill cost $30.00 per month whether you use it or not. Oh an a word to pet owners, if your pet causes any problems to tenants...they will give you three weeks to gain control of your pet and then believe me...YOUR OUTTA THERE! They are serious about parking after 10 p.m. so beware of $150 tow charge..believe me you will get towed.

rule. Wake up, sucker. All of the "got you"s that you described don't.
make it worth living there. And take it from a guy who got nailed with
a $2800 bill from a debt collector a year after leaving, the management
at this place is evil and lying comes as natural as breathing to them.
So, enjoy your stay and look forward to death if it comes before
your "exit walk through".

One word on parking -- they aggressively enforce with with NO flexibility. They don't check license plates to determine if they are a resident, instead, they require a 3" x2" placard in your vehicle.
If friends or family come over, even for just a few minutes, they MUST park all the way by the white curb located near the entrance.
When it snows, make sure you have your own Ice Pick, Shovel and Salt. Though the office does have tools for rental, they have a very limited quantity to serve 600 residents. The snow truck/scraper is very irresponsible the way that they just pack snow along the parking spaces instead of pushing to an unused area. This results in very unsafe and potentially damaging parking conditions for residents.
I totally agree with the part about documenting EVERYTHING. Jennifer in the office is very strategic in her words and is hardly reasonable for any situation. If you have a question about your lease, don't bother asking, just look at your lease, since that's all they will do.
