I just moved out a few weeks ago - and I am glad I did!!!! The office staff doesn't care, the management doesn't care. I moved into an apartment with old, worn out carpet - in fact 5 year old carpet (if that had been disclosed to me I wouldn't have moved in!) - and now they are charging me to replace it. Apparently they do not replace the carpet after each tennant - that is disgusting!!!
I have a pet so I paid an extra $500 pet fee up front, plus additional pet fees each month that they claim, "Just allow me to have a pet - not to cover damages." Remember - the carpet was already worn and 5 years old.
I complained about mold for 5 months before anyone came over to check the walls - and even then they wouldn't lift up the carpet to check it for mold.
The work-out rooms are disgusting and not cleaned daily - there are not even rags and cleaner available to wipe the machines off on your own. The grounds are OK - and the pools are OK. There was a live bee-hive behind my garage for an entire year - and I complained and complained - and it was there when I moved out! They claimed that their maintence crew is not equipped to handle that (so you call a specialist).
The shower rod fell on my head a few times - and the office wouldn't even file a maintenance report - I had to have my own installed - and guess what - was charged when I moved out....in fact, I left some groceries in the freezer by mistake - not only did the guy who did the walk through take them home- they charged me $50 to have them removed.
And the trash compactors would be piled with trash - outside of the compactor because they would get jammed - after each weekend and they do not enforce the "pick up after your pet" clause either. People would walk there dogs behind my unit because it faced the woods (great smell in the summer heat).
And it's no just Jen - it's the entire staff in the office from Cody, Shannon - on down to Sean in maintenance.....I ran into 2 helpful people my entire 14 months there!!! So - forewarned is fairwarned!!!! These prices are not low-imcome or section-8 housing - but you will be treated like a second class citizen in this community.

Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Finally someone else who gets it. I always
wonder what kind of drugs the people that positive reviews are on. These
people aren't just incompetant, they're are evil. They pulled the
rug scam on me too. I listened to the smoke detector (that was fifteen
feet up in the vaulted ceiling) chirp for six months after I reported
it several times. Then there was the cheap air filter that went so long
without being replaced that it became clogged and was sucked onto the
radiator coils causing the heater/AC to fail. To save time, instead of
listing everything that sucked about the place, I'll list what's right
about the place. That's it.

Oh My God! what a couple of losers! your reviews are replete with clues of your laziness and (obviously) never having lived on your own! Here are a few clues, NO CHARGE! Everybody pays pet deposit, if you were billed for the carpet...hmmmm maybe (most likely) you or your pet did something to it. "Shower rod" are you kidding me? if you can't even install a shower rod properly I feel sorry for you, Smoke detector "chirping"??? its called change the friggin battery!!! also, eveyone knows that you leave an apt. the way it was when you moved in, that means no food left behind (I received my ENTIRE deposit back) I wonder why that happened? also, if you are so lazy as to call maintenance for every little situation, no wonder they were tired of you, I would be too! and here' a thought, carry your own damn cleaning stuff when you want to work out (I did) Sean did my walk through and you couldn't ask for a nicer more professional guy. I'll bet the office staff threw a hell of a party when you two whiners left, geez.

First of all if it is sucha great place - why only a 41% approval rating? And why are so many people complaining about the same things? Stop and think - did all these people get together and decide to do this just because - or could this have been their experience....really. If you are paying rent then you shouldn't have to have your own cleaning stuff at the pool or the gym - what is your rent for? There shouldn't be dog poop on the grounds - and i believe the person with the shower rod did say she tried to get it repaired by maintenance. And your rent covers you calling maintenace for every little issue - again - what else is it for? It would have been stupid for her to do it herself - because then she would be responsible if it broke again, right? Mold is a serious issue. I must say that my expereince was closer to the other negative reviews than not - so maybe before you go calling names (which no one did to you and demonstrates your maturity level) - then you may want to consider that these are their experiences; and at a 41% approval rating - you may want to think that the only reason you got your back is because you didn't complain. When I am spending over $1,000 per month - I usually want some value back.
