Welcome to life at Camden Lansdowne. The apartment community provides bright and spacious apartments many with attached garages. As apartment living goes these units are top notch!

The staff is another story. Good luck with finding someone in their office who is actually friendly. In the short time I have lived here I have had my car towed because I forgot to switch the parking permit from garage to general before I parked in the open parking lot. Yes, you have to have the right permit in your car window because if you don't your car will get a quick ride to a very sketchy impound lot in Sterling VA. If you attempt to speak to the current property Manager, Cody, he will simply apologize to and then point out in the lease where this information is located because " many people just sign their lease without reading them."

Packages, well UPS, DHL, or Fed EX can't get you at home they are supposed to leave a note on your door mailbox. If this note blows away or is never placed by the delivery company, you better check your tracking information. The office does not call you. I had two packages sit in their office for almost 3 weeks to see if any one would call me or leave a note. Guess what, they didn't. Funny, Camden Fallsgrove in Rockville, MD would contact their residents to let them know they have a package.

In general I love living at Camden properties, but unless they entire staff and the property manager, Cody, get sent to customer service classes, or better yet replaced, you would be better off staying clear of Camden Lansdowne.

I totally agree with you about the office staff. I had an ongoing issue with the herd of cattle above my head and the lease clearly states that if a dog becomes a problem with another leasee then the dog shall be removed. Instead I was told that the lease on the dog owner wasn't going to be renewed. Well, great in the meantime I had a 24 hour kennel above my head for 4 months. Just wait until you move out and see the bill they send you!!!!! My apt was spotless, carpet steam cleaned and they were still not satisfied and water/sewer/trash bills from when I don't know because they won't tell me. But I'm expected to pay whatever they decide to bill me for...no explanations at all. When I requested dates for the utility bills I got a copy of the lease!!! I agree with the parking issue....my husband got towed 2 times. Missing parking pass (might have been stolen, who really looks everyday to see if it's there) and once with a rental car that was parked at 2am in the lot because there were no other palces to park in the "no tow zone". I give Camden 2 thumbs down.
