I have lived here for 2 months. Prior to signing your lease, have the management identify all fees they are going to charge you. The settlement sheet they give you does not spell out all the fees they are going to hit you with. I strongly suggest you have your attorney negotiate your lease, DO NOT do this yourself with these folks.
I am filing complaints with the Virgina Attorney General's Office and the BBB soon on what I believe to be deceptive business practices.
To continue, Noise is a major problem.
Utility bills at this complex are extremely excessive. Be sure to ask for utility useage history for the unit you are going to rent. My last APT in PA. 2B2B same climate, my gas and electric bill combined never went over $100, at this complex each bill is over $100. So be aware that your budget possibly will not be what you think it will be.
As far as the management team, I can't give them a passing grade, but I can't give them a failing grade yet. As of now, my communications with them don't seem to be taken seriously, and they certainly don't take ownership of issues.
To close for now, the site certainly does not practice their mission statement which is posted in the office. I will post again as things develop.

This is an interesting response, particularly the part of "Anonymous." I would guess you don't live at this property or this is a response from the Management. I expect value for my money and I don't expect to be lied to. I also expect to work with professionals.
As to your comment about reading the lease, the lease makes no mention of additional fees or the obligation of the tennant to pay those extra fees, but I'm willing to bet the management of this complex will report negatively to the credit agencies.
So to the "genius" that wrote the response, what do you mean by "do us all a favor and post more childish complaints?"

Obviously the Anonymous person works there. Sounds like they have a lot of bitter feelings about their tenants. Try not ripping people off and see if you sleep better at night. I think I can actually figure out which one of the office staff this is!

LOL! you folks do make me laugh. In answer to your query, no I do not work there, however I was a happy tenant for over 2 years, and the only reason I even respond to your nonsense is because your childish whiny posts more than merit it. As for you 'lil missy' aka "melindaward" I do get sick of reading "Ripped me Off" "The Staff wrote this" or the ever popular "Additional Fees" how come none of this magical stuff happened to me? I paid my rent early, cleaned my apt. and instead of "Additional Fees" I was promptly refunded my entire security deposit. It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out the vast majority of tenant complaints (which serve to ruin sites such as this) are of their own doing!
