i have lived here since july 2005 and the only good thing here is maintence. every year they raise my rent by $50 or more but have done nothing to update the apt. my cupboards are peeling some won't stay closed others dont want to open when i moved in i was told they would be replaced which hasnt happened. the bathroom looks old and stained like it hasnt been cleaned even when it has been. staff seems uncocerned about any issue you have. and since ive been here they have yet to open the pool on time or even keep it open daily through the summer. they are always doing outside improvement but not inside. gas bills are around $200 to $250 through cold/winter months because the bill is divded between everyone. the list of things not right or good about this place could go on forever.

I moved away from HC in 7/06 and it was the best thing I ever did. Even though I pay more for rent, I have much better living conditions. When I lived at HC I had horrible kitchen cabinets. I didn't put my dishes in them because of the peeling and the cabinets were impossible to clean. Everytime I do laundry now I think about the small washing machine I had at HC. As soon as you get the money you should move.

I lived in HC for two years. I found the maintenance absolutely MISSING IN ACTION. Sure, they promised to do it tomorrow...but, two weeks later they had not shown up. When I followed up, they had "lost" the work order. This went on and on and on...no repairs were ever mailed. The outside, cosmetic upgrades did take place. Nothing was ever done on the inside. This was true of the "common" space...halls and stairwells.

I lived there for two years. The maintenance personel was great, but what they had to work with was crap. We had HVAC problems, drafty windows, and half of the entire apartment lost electrical power for half of the apartment. Gomez was in our apartment so many times, he had his own coffe mug. The manager was rude and condescending. She started working there right before we moved in and was fired just before we moved out. The neighborhood could be so much nicer. They really need to budget for real washer/dryers. Front-loading under the counter models are available. Plugging a hose into your kitchen sink to wash your clothes is embarrassing now that I look back at it. That technology was outdated forty years ago.
