Well, the management leaves a LOT to be desired. Tenant satisfaction is way down their list. The initial property manager was finally fired after what I understand was lots of complaints and screw-ups. When I first moved here I loved it but once I had an interaction with management my opinion started to change. These apartments are new and nice but definitely over priced, at least the smaller two bedroom in which I live. They charge extra for a view, an atrocious pet deposit, half of which is non-refundable, a yearly amenities fee which is non-refundable which includes amenities I won't ever use, and oh, your pet has to pay monthly rent to live with you. To demonstrate...they lowered my rent the second month I lived here, yeah, and just recently I discovered they lowered the rent again, but refused the second time to lower mine. I moved here in May '06 and because the place is new, there were many things to be fixed. Maintanance kept saying, we'll be in next week to complete the fixes. They finally completed most of the list at the end of August. I know of two tenants who moved in and then moved out a month later. BECAUSE the place has a major infestation of springtail bugs; since the day I moved in. Seasonal they may be, they are still here even though the pest control company has been making visits off and on since June to treat the place and twice weekly since the end of July thru Sept. And boy what a round and round I've had over that one. They sent the pest control co to my place once without notifying me and sprayed toxic chemicals while my animal was present in the room. They offered no compensation during the worst part of the infestation, except for dry cleaning the bug guts from my comforters, even though I was unable to use my 2nd bedroom or bath for two months, and was away more than here because I could not live with the infestation in my bed, my bath, crawling the walls, ceilings and on me as I sat on my sofa. And when I was here, I was constantly cleaning and vacuuming, major pain. I insisted and they agreed to do a remediation cleaning, but used a company that does not do remediation cleaning. And now half way thru the job have decided they will do NO more. If you have choices for where to move, choose a different place... PS The Springtail bugs were gone mid Oct 06 but now beginning of March 07 they are back.....NOT a happy camper here.
