US Post Office Delivery Sucks

The United States Postal Service delivery to Somerset Park is terrible. The Letter Carrier is always on the phone and always putting mail in the wrong mail box. There have been bills that I have not received, and expensive packages that I have not received, all because of the USPS Letter Carrier being so bad at her job. I would have to say that most Northern Virginia Letter Carriers suck, but this letter carrier is the queen of bad delivery. I would hate to think it s the post offices fault for not sorting the mail properly for her?
Also, the construction of Somerset Park is atrocious. The ceilings are low, and this is bad. We get to hear all of my upstairs neighbors problems and body functions not his fault, the walls are too thin. Also, the pipes make serious noise at 3:00 AM and the trash that lives at the apartment community drives too fast and leaves cigarette butts everywhere.
Finally, Spring Tales and Mice. Those are big issues with this joint. DO NOT RENT HERE. They are great at looking like a good place to live, but they are not. They have small little Spring Tale bugs when its not winter time, and they have Mice getting into the homes as well. We re talking on the second and third floor mouse infestations here friends. If you need to live someplace, then live in the street before you live here. I am out when my lease is up.

I'm a resident at Somerset Park and we also experienced spring tails from March to August. When our lease is up we are out as well since they will be back by the end of the month. There is a possibility for them not to return, because they are no longer using Superior, unless you're saying you're experiencing them now. Since somerset park is no longer managed by arcadia, it's possible the new property management may not know the impact of how bad the spring/summer months could get for new/old residents if the spring tails do return full force. We don't have mice though... so sorry to hear about your story.
Also, on the subject about the local mail carrier, we've complained to somerset park last summer multiple times (they can't do anything unfortunately they said), we've complained to the post office three times, we filed an official complaint with consumer complaints for the US post office (which did contact the leesburg location since they called us back the next day out of the blue) and the former arcadia property manager stopped having her mail sent to her somerset apt before she quit in Dec and had it sent to her parents house because she would never get mail, too! We lost multiple christmas cards containing checks, paystubs and USPS packages totally over $120.

We too have had the same problem with the Postal Service. My wife ordered some jewelry online and it never arrived. To make things worse we saw our neighbor a few days later wearing such jewelry. My wife does not want any problems so we have not said anything. My advice to anyone living there or thinking of living there is have ALL of your mail delivered somewhere else, especially important ones.
I have noted 3 mail carriers. An hispanic female, an asian male, and a black male. The black guy is good. The asian always has on headphones and I have seen him randomly throwing mail in boxes without looking, but he will at least sometimes take bigger packages that dont fit to the door. The hispanic female will just set the larger packages on the floor in front of the mailbox for anyone to take.
Oh and one last thing, I have seen multiple times when its raining hard the hispanic female get out of her car and then be obviously annoyed with the rain and get back in and leave WITHOUT delivering the mail
