I have always understood that in renting an apartment you risk the chance of having roaches reagrdless of weather you keep a clean unit or not. I personally keep a very clean apartment; however - the roaches continue to multiply. I've called the rental office 3 times this month and 3 times last month and still know one has come out to spray and rid of these bugs - WHAT A SHAME!!! It has gotten to a point where no one can actually sit their drinks down with out coming back to find a family of roaches swimming for dear life. Also . . . .

The management team SUCKS!!!! Really bad.
6 months before my last year (2007)lease was up I went to the rental office to request a 3 bed room apartment for more space - they told me I could get it but ended up renting to someone else and completely disregarded my request.
So I'm stuck in this smaller unit for another year. :o(

The trash dumpster is in the way in the front of the complexe - So not cool. They should have at least 2 (one in the front - one in the back) Maybe they do. Maybe I just haven't found the second one.

I can't count how many times I've been to the office to fill out the same paper work over and over again. There are continous letters that are placed on my door stating a bunch of crap that dosen't make since. When ever some one within the management team looses a form or hasn't followed through on THEIR JOB- you as the resident are penalized; and/or harrassed by various breah of lease notices. Sad to say coporate has done nothing about any of this.

All of my closet doors are not working properly. I called this in to the rental office and a gentlemen told me to oil the closets down myself - he even went as far as telling me what i needed to get to fix the door - wow.

Now for the few positive points (ha - not many) . . . . The on call after hour guy has always been cool and prompt about helping me out If I locked the keys in the house or when my heat wasn't working. He does his best.
Lorton Station Elementary is right in neighborhood - The kids can be kind of roudy - but what kids aren't''''' They are kids. My son loves his school.

Overall I think this could be a nice place if they had a better team running the show. They are extremly unprofessional and organized. Frankly I don't think they give a Dam* about the residents.
