I've been here for a little over two years and his place is pretty decent It's a 3-4 level garden style aparment and each floor has four units .No complaints from neighbors, everyone acutally kept to themselve and the people above me below me were really nice and not noisy at all! I never had any bug/roach problem (thank god for that as well)

The common areas are ok, i mean they try to clean up trash and stuff but the people who have dogs are nasty!! They don't clean up after them and this lazy nasty looking lady that lives on same floor as me. doesnt even walk her poor dog! what she does is take the dog down to the grassy area. She sits down and let's the dog pee and take a crap w/o cleaning it up! Her trifflin kids are outside their apartment drinking yoohoos and stuff and just throw the trash right on the floor.. i mean how hard is it to throw stuff in the trash! I guess the apple doesnt fall far from the tree!


But this is what definately made me move:

They have the WORST management team working at the leasing office I've put in several requests to get my washer/dryer fixed..nothing!!!There was a leak or something from above, i called to have them check it out... nothing!! I locked myself out of my apartment once late one weekend. so I called the afterhours emergency line prob 5-6 times leaving my name, apartment info, and cell phone. Did they ever call back'!'!' hell no!! i mean seriously why the hell do they have that line if no one calls back! Next day I go to the leasing office and ask why they didn't call back. The stupid maintanence manager which looks like he's annoyed that your asking him a question, ignores you while he's looking at his phone, and give you a half a** broken answer (which by the way has a extremly horrible accent ) said: "oh, i got your messages but I couldnt figure out what your apartment number was" WHAT!!! I did leave my number not once but 5-6 times.. LIES!!

Then there's the damn property manager: Vikky Bittenger and her incompetent assistant manager: Nick !! BUT definately watch out for her !! She never returns calls and is a true pain to deal with. Literally EVERYONE complains about her .She give your same half a** answers as the other fool and acts like she's doing you a favor!! I dont know how many times i've gone to the leasing office to ask a simple question, she's sitting her lazy a** in her office and doesnt bother to get up (cause she's so busy snarfing down her nasty Big Mac from McDonalds)and check to see what she can help with.. That's her job!! Instead her little assitant (which i forget her name ) is like oh leave your number i'll have her call you! Call me'' she's sitting right there! I was so pissed that I had her assistant give me their corporate number and give me the name of the regional manager.. And guess what, I left him a few messages as well to see if perhaps he can help... he didnt return my calls..!!

So according to your lease, every year that you renew you get kind of like a "reward" .. My first year I had the option of either getting my carpet professionally cleaned or adding a ceiling fan! I chose my carpet getting washed.. Never happened!!! Supposedly I'm on the waiting list.. wow that's one long a** waiting list i've been here for two years.. they've never came in to wash it!


Oh and this just get's better!! Earlier this year I get his letter from the leasing co, saying that I owed them 400.00 and had 5 days to pay' I went to them and asked what they were charging me for since I've always paid my rent on time and have never been late. Nick the assistant manager said that THEY got charged from my gas/power company directly because I was showing that I never paid my utilites and they had no current address.. That made absolutely no sense since I did pay my fees on time and I got a letter every month to my actual apartment address. So I had to go back to both companies and have pull up my acct from when i first moved up until that time to prove that there was no change in names and that the address remained the same through out. I brought the print outs to him a few days later. They supposedly took that 400.00 charge off of my acct. Fast forward to two months later and I get another letter stating that I owed them 400.00. This time I talk to Vikki and she tells me the exact same thing as nick said!! By the I was so pissed that I had to call both companies again and get the exact same information!!! She dropped the fees!
or at least she better have!!

Oh and lets not forget about what the other review posted before. They do loose your paperwork. I had to fill out my renewal paperwork twice last year!! And plenty of "im breaching my contract" letters on my door for no reason!!

So if you like dealing with:

Unprofessional,Disorganized, disorderly, incompetant, rude, non-english speaking staff, who all give you different answers one day and change up the next. If you want to go around in circles trying to get things fixed in your apartment, you may as well go to home depot and buy one of those self help books on how to fix stuff. You'll prob have better luck fixing it on your own rather then them coming in to fix it for you!
If god forbid you lock your self out and you realized that your cooking something you better just knock on your neighbors door and have them help you climb up to get to your apartment and pray that you left that balcony door unlocked!! They wont show up!!

It's a shame becuase Lorton Station is a really nice area to live in and this apartment complex has a lot of potential since its so new. But Vikki and her crew of dumb a** employees are messing it up!! I seriously hope that enough tenants come together and get her fired!

I posted here about the management, I can't believe how they get away with the crap that goes on, that's why in another month, I'm free of this place. Your right, it could be a good place to live for several years if it wasn't for the terrible staff, the maintenance, the ghetto trashy people, the drug dealers, and the total lack of care that seems to surround the complex.

I have heard around that there are possible drug dealers but i think it's more in the builings that are closer to the dumpster. I've never had any problems with the kids or other people. Maybe cause i just keep to myself or what ever. I would have loved to stay in this area but I cant put up with the lame mgmt much longer and definately not dealing with them for another year
