My husband and I were very happy with Sanger Place when we moved to Virginia in July of 2005. Unfortunately, it's been in a steady state of decline since then. There has been a lot of turnover in the office and while there are office hours posted, I've heard from shipping companies on several occasions that they've found no one in the office to leave packages with. And good luck finding someone there on a Sunday. We only have hot water for laundry, showers and baths when the heat isn't on, and that's still inconsistent. The other issue, which is no fault of the management, is the heathens that run rampantly through the complex. Children of all ages running around the parking lot, screaming, swearing and using other forms of inappropriate language. Teenagers hanging out in the woods at 1 am on weekends while I'm trying to sleep. Oh, and let's not forget about the recent vandalism to the "fitness center" (if you call a few antiquated machines and a weight machine a fitness center) and some of the common areas. People also have some unreasonable inability to put trash where it actually belongs. The rent is cheap, but still isn't worth it. We will not be renewing our lease.
