Ok, my husband and I moved to MET LORTON thinking we were "moving up like the Jeffersons". Its beautiful on the outside and on the inside of the apartments...but thats how they suck you in. We moved in our 1 bed w/ loft in Feb 2008 and stayed until Jul 1, 2009. Let me begin my drama of MET LORTON. let me state that we have a 20lb dog and had to pay a monthly fee for her, so our rent was (including extra parking space since both my husband and I have a car) $1649.00. No utilities included. I was still ok with it because I was so in love with this apt. then we get the complaints from our downstairs neighbor about our dog walking around the apt and they literally start using a broom to bang the ceiling! If I pay for my dog to be here, I will be damned I make her sit down in her own apt. I was very cordial and made sure she wasnt running or jumping or doing anything extra out of common courtesy for my neighbors, but I believe the lady was old and senial. after the first 3 months she moved out. Then my husbands motorcycle is stolen from the 4th floor out of the "secured garage" that we pay monthly to park in...HOW CAN THAT POSSIBLY HAPPEN. Now when the police officer showed up to take the report we inform him that there are cameras at the entrance and exit of this garage. He goes to speak to the property manager and can you believe that they would not cooperate and told the officer he needed to provide a supoena for the footage''' WTF!! long story short, about 2 months later state police chased the bike down (thank goodness).

Next issue....FIRE ALARMS!!! Ive never in my life been through what we experience with the fire alarms like at MET LORTON. As a previous reviewer stated maybe months later we get the flyers stating someone was pulling the alarms...BS!!!

OH has it been re-iterated enough that the staff is RUDE and IGNORANT! There is one person that actually cares in that leasing office and that is Greg! The Property manager can careless about you, your issues, and/or anything or anybody else.

The good o' garage doors hardly ever work. Talk about paying for "unsecure" parking that everyone can park in because the doors are always broken. everyday there is a threatening flyer on the door. one day about having certain items on patios, your pets, etc. etc. OK if the problem isnt with my apt then dont leave me a threatening "we can fine you" flyer!

The loading dock door is broken and locks when it wants to so if someone wants to come into the building they can just use the back door thats always WIDE OPEN! The walls are paper thin...We are entertained by the neighbors late night "events". You can even here telephone conversations and when the shower is turned on and off by your neighbor.

Ok how about the flyer stating they are taking out the hallway lights...Thats fine cause mine NEVER worked! Computers in the computer room that you paid for DONT WORK! Machines in the little exercise room...DONT WORK! This place is a disaster. What makes it so much worse it that you pay so much money to be ANGRY and TICKED off daily with these people and the drama of the community. I warn you RUN AWAY!
