Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
I stayed here from February 2002 to May 2003. I rented a one bedroom and I should have stayed in the barracks the bedroom can be see as soon as you open the front door. The bedroom is not in the back it is seperated from the den only by two doors. Trash receptors are always overflowing. Stray cats everywhere. Don't walk behind the apartments there is dog poo everywhere. Balcony needs work you might fall over if you lean onto the railing its so old. There is rust outside the buildings from the AC units. Did I mention no assigned parking. I lived in the back and somedays I had to park all the way at the front and walk about a 1/2 mile to my apartment. Problems I've had with the bathroom my toilet at this very moment constantly runs. The bath tub is impossible to keep clean. I clean it up take a shower and since the water doesn't drain as is should it sits and mildew takes over immediately. Insects, silver fish, spiders. Management the slogan we love our residents yeah right! They are all about the money. You are just a check! You pay for water, trash, and sewer to just in case you was wondering. My recommendation is continue looking if you want a home if you just want a shelter then fill out an application! Since I've stayed there all my neighbors have left noone renewed their lease. When I see people coming to view apartmenst I just want to tell them don't do it. One more thing I can lay in my bed and smell the smoke from a cigarette that someone is smoking in the hallway. Winter time your electric bill will be sky high but your apartment will still be cold. They suggest you go get some plastic from Lowe's and cover your balcony door. Rent will increase every renewal.
