1) needs assigned parking. I think a bunch of apartments have 4 illegals and/or starving students in them hogging up the parking. If you get in anytime after 7pm during any day of the week, good luck finding a parking space close by.
2) the recent construction guys like to get in your apartment the next day after letting you know as if this is conveniently notifying you - I find this very aggravating as I have a lot of DVD's / CD's and Books - I would like at least the opportunity to be present during minor maintenance. Most of the contract maintenance for recent painting and siding maintanence looks like they just got off the boat (or ran accross the border). I have insurance (they just started requiring it) but I dont want to have to take an inventory of my stuff just to be feel safe.
3) Bathroom ventilation fans are a joke - they dont ventilate but just recirculate the air - this is against current building codes. As a result, mold growth in the bath is almost impossible to stop unless you clean every 3-4 days. I would recommend running a small fan at the door to the bath out into the apt in general and then cracking a window for better ventilation.
4) definite silverfish and large centipede problem (big centipedes - 1inch long) - probably due to poor bathroom ventilation and proximity to woods. Needs better ventilation, and interior treatment. I treat my own apt sparingly with standard 30-day over the counter residual pesticides.
4) Too many neighbors apparently just dump their dog XXX over their balconies - they need to eliminate pet rights "on the spot" for people who dont clean up - no excuses.
